Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Do not bother to purchase! Purchase the Rand McNally Technically this product should not deserve a 1 star. This product has given me one problem after another and continue to do so. The 6500 Pro HD will randomly direct you to get off the freeway...make a U-turn and get back on the freeway. The STAA setting doesn't work and may have you driving into someone back yard. It will also freeze and display an onscreen error or delay so bad you can be a couple miles ahead before gps catches up. Cobra either need to do more research on gps by following suit with Rand McNally or stop making them completely. You are better off with an Atlas or your smartphone than a Cobra 6000/6500 Pro HD.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Waste of time and money This is the most horrible gps I have ever come across. Not at all user friendly, route options are a joke. I put in my destination, it gave me a 14 hour trip getting on and off the highway multiple times and going way out of the way. Had to use my phone gps and turned out to be less than 9 hours. I will never spend another penny on anything cobra makes I am so disgusted with this product. Truck drivers have enough issues without the trucker gps unit being one of them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from purchased unit as a gift for a friend because he like my pre To hard to put in your trips. Does not show your speed. My friend that I purchased this unit for, hated this machine. I gave him my older model and kept this one. Biggest mistake ever. I would trade this unit for the older model in a minute. I'm not sure I would buy a another cobra radio if this is the direction Cobra is heading.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from DO NOT BUY I drove 80 miles to get one for my husband I had to take it back to another store that was over 100 miles away because it had a red screen. Got the second one he took it out for his trip wouldn't stay on kept shutting off and giving him an error code not even a day in the trip he took that one back and is on the third one well let's just say cobra will be getting a call from me in the morning I can not believe all the money we spent on this GPS and its not good at all. I buy cobra everything but cobra GPS will never buy again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from The good and the bad I am a trucker and there are definetely pros and cons. Lets start with the cons. GPS kept crashing due to a .exe error and had to hard reset it. Then figuring maybe software needed updated I updated it and got invalid license issue. There is no MPH speed on the main screen. there is if you go through some menus but I was with another driver who had older version and it had it right on the main screen. Pros: Has most of the features I would want in it. I was able to get my GPS updated and now to see if it works like it should. I will be keeping the card with me in case I have any issues so I can fix it if needed. Adding addresses in it is easy and it has a stylus which is useful for me as I have large hands.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Not a tool recommended to any driver This unit has led me into low bridges on more then one occasion. It takes only interstate routing usually claiming state highways with high truck traffic are non-truck routs. A gps is a tool to be used to help drivers how ever this tool will lead you to the unemployment line. I wouldn't give mine away because ï wouldn't wish this pile on anyone. I full regret the money I wasted on this unit. Today it told me to make a U turn in semi farmers drive way to avoid hwy 35 in ohio.
