Rated 5 out of 5 by Jim4net from Quality Stuff! The laptop, which I have returned to Blinq, is probably a good computer, but it turned out to be that it did not fit my needs because of its incompatabiality with certain programs that I want, notably Google, and also because of the excessive sensibility of the arrow functions. There was no problem with Blinq, it was moe because of not knowing what I want. I will use Blinq again when I am certain of what I need. Thank you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kellie from Lots to like about this inexpensive laptop.... ...but a few things that I would change too. The main thing I would change is I would add more USB ports and put them further back or even on the back. Where they are now they get in the way of the mouse and other things. I would also make the DVD drive Blu-ray. But with the very low price beggars can't be choosers, right? lol. There are two things that bug me....one is this little bright white light on the left corner of the edge of the keyboard that blinks constantly and is really annoying and bothersome....I see some duct tape in my future. The other thing that bothers me is the plastic around the keyboard gets kinda sticky and attracts dust...It sort of feels like when you buy some things and you have to remove a plastic coating such as on a phone screen....but there is nothing to remove so I can't figure out what it is our how to clean it off and keep it from attracting so much dust. Other than those few things this is a pretty sweet laptop. I love the Bluetooth, the webcam, the backlit keyboard and other things.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Crystal from Frustrated and disappointed. I do agree with the previous poster on the strange tackiness of the keyboard that attracts dust but overall determined I would need to invest in laptop wipes and it wasn't a large con for me. -------------------------------- Now, this was my first time purchasing a used laptop. I've constantly kept in mind that I wasn't expecting perfection and that Blinq had moderately good reviews in general. I did some research and followed approved guidelines on what to do with a bought used laptop. As soon as I got it I ran the chkdsk/ r and it said everything was fine. USB/HDMI ports worked, no lag in startup, all the keys worked, nothing was cracked and all in all I was pleasantly pleased. I will forever be grateful to one tip I read; which was, use the laptop constantly until the end of the return period. Now I have a desktop, so what I really wanted was portability and the capacity to tweet, write and stream online. I don't consider the uses I have planned for it to be major. The first issue popped up while using the mouse-pad, it can be hard to move sometimes and then the mouse arrow shot out of my control, it happened once, so I sighed and reminded myself "I'm not expecting perfection". The second issue popped during saves, the File Explorer would freeze whenever I was opening it and while saving it would lag and freeze for about 20 seconds before going back to normal, again, I sighed and reminded myself "I'm not expecting perfection". The third issue popped up while streaming, it glitched and froze for a bit but I sighed and reminded myself "I'm not expecting perfection" and then some days later during the RNC/DNC streaming full screen; I got to watch green pixel glitches run down on the upper left-hand corner of the clip. (This happens on and off) I sighed and reminded myself "I'm not expecting perfection". After that I did a clean disk and defrag to paranoidly cover all my bases and made a note to only view clips at 480p/720p from now on. Later on I moved my saved bookmarks over and decided to do a back-up. I received the error code 0x80070002 on files in documents/pictures being skipped during the back-up. At this point my sighs turned panicky; I googled it and followed microsoft's instructions. Seeing as how I would really be saving information on my flashdrives and dropbox I was slightly relieved that it wasn't a "big" issue so I sighed and reminded myself "I'm not expecting perfection". Now I had originally tested all the ports and all was fine, but again thank goodness I read that tip and was continually using the laptop. I plugged in my flashdrive (New and nothing on it) to save an article I typed up and here it was, finally the straw that broke the camel’s back, the screen froze. It didn't just freeze, oh no. The startbar went AWOL, the taskbar disappeared, the whole screen turned blue. I left it alone for 30mins, and eventually had to press the power button to turn it off. I'm extremely saddened and I consider this the worst type of laptop. It deceives you. Other people are lucky enough to have problems as soon as it turns on or in some cases not at all. Mine slowly built up to it, small enough issues to catch your attention but nothing big enough to worry about for a used laptop. I did a system restore so my files aren't there and I've now contacted Blinq to return this deception. Barely two weeks and it's been a frustrating journey and I'm incredibly disappointed.
