SOOOO SLOW and hard to navigate!
I am sorry b/c I so wanted to write a wonderful review! I have friends who love their Lenovo (my son too) so I took the plunge. I just wanted an inexpensive laptop so that is why we purchased this one. I should have returned it but it is too late now. When typing there are page up/page down buttons BEFORE the shift key so I am always being taken up to the begin of my text - a real pain. I had to purchase a wireless mouse b/c the finger mouse on the computer is VERY difficult to operate and is difficult to engage. I am always scrolling over something and then my print becomes enormous and I then have to keep resetting it to the default. Also, we NEVER turn it off b/c rebooting it takes FOREVER!!!! This computer is SO SLOW. I was so excited to have something new that would be fast, uh, NO. Oh well, my fault. I did not do my due diligence when reading reviews. Sorry, wish I had better news to share - do not buy this model of Lenovo.

Had problems 8 days out of the box
I bought this computer a month ago, 8 days out of the box I started having problems with the power switch. On the 9th day it ceased to function. I went out of town the next week and the store told me they only had a 15 day return policy. Contacted Lenovo tech support and the guy I spoke with was very nice and helpful, but I still had to wait for them to send me a box and then ship it back to them. I have not received it back yet, however, it has only been 3 business days, they told me 7 business days. My last Lenovo went for 4-5 years before having any issues. I am a little concerned about this purchase at this point.

This is the first time I purchased a Lenovo and I'm incredibly disappointed. This is the worst computer I've ever had.
1) It is slow.
2) It freezes often.
3) The mouse (on the screen) can freeze, lag, and mis-click.
4) The mouse/touchpad (on the keyboard) is awkward and un-intuitive.
5) It doesn't even have enough power to charge my phone through the USB port.
6) The keyboard is off so it's incredibly difficult to type (the shift button is in the wrong position).
7) You cannot use it for more than a couple of hours before it overheats.
8) There are icons and information cluttered on the computer about Microsoft Office but it's not actually installed on the computer (it's like having commercials installed on my computer).
9) WORST OF ALL: None of the audio/video settings stay. I fix one setting and attempt a program (such as Skype) and it doesn't work. I go back to the settings to see that it has reset. I actually kept the setting box open while I was trying to perform a Skype call and WATCHED the settings change on their own. Nothing I did worked. I cannot perform any sort of meaningful work on this computer since it doesn't type well and I can't have any online meetings. It sabotaged an online interview I had.
Yes, I've inquired about returning the computer but all of these problems revealed themselves after the short 15-day return period.
Yes, I've called tech support, but unfortunately I do not have the 20+ hours it may take to resolve some of these problems.

I've been using an Ideapad 110 for a few weeks now and feel it is extremely sturdy, fast boot-up and shut down. Dual Core processor also surprised me as far speed opening up a browser or program.
I only have to cons: the external speaker is inadequate--I have to use my earbuds and the right Shift key is under Enter and I hit the up arrow all the time, as I have to stretch my pinky way out of its comfort zone.
I still feel this a a Great Laptop, which includes a 500 GB HDD, 4 GB of RAM and has a DVD/RW. Solid machine for the price and I highly recommend it.

Slim, Fast, Rugged and Reliable.
I recently purchased this 110-15ACL and after a quick upgrade of the hard drive to a Samsung SSD I could not be happier. The laptop worked great all original but I had a Samsung 850 SSD laying around and put it in and now I can not tell the difference between my wifes $700 laptop and mine. I paid roughly $300 for this and $120 for the drive. I am amazed by the speed and ease of use. It is constructed well and the reason for the "cheaper" laptop is I use it for work in the construction field and dirt is a major concern so I only use low cost computers in the field. I have to say that even though this did not cost as much as some other brands it outperforms at least 2 steps higher in cost. What I am trying to say is I am amazed by the performance I am getting out of this low cost computer. Thank you Lenovo, I will be purchasing this brand again.

New ideapad 110
I purchased this laptop last month after my other laptop was having issues. One thing, beg my pardon is that I hate the key board. The "shift" key is one key over from where it should be. In its normal place is the "page up" key so I have to constantly look over to see if my finger is on the correct key. If I do not then I have to fix whatever I typed.
