Rated 5 out of 5 by guilleLEN from Excellence in Performance. Got my IdeaPad 300 back a month ago an dI couldn't be happier. Forget about multiple desktops; its full HD resolution will allow you to have as many windows as you want in one desktop while still being able to get the whole picture. And its bright, crisp display lets you see the smallest details. With a quad core i7 6th gen processor and 8 Gb RAM (expandable to 16 Gb), multitasking has never been faster. I work with HUGE worksheets, and this powerful processor loads them in 2 to 3 seconds, in comparison to the MINUTES that it took my last laptop, a core 2 duo with 2 Gb. Performance at its best.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Bill Cleveland from Fatal flaw The battery is permanently installed, like a bad cell phone. After a couple of years, this will be a plugged-in-only computer. With upgrades being needed less often these days, that is totally unacceptable. It never occurred to me that a non-replaceable battery was a possibility, until tech support mentioned it troubleshooting the dead screen. That made me return it, rather than repair. Otherwise, it seems fine. Good specs for the price, and it's the 6th generation i5u, which has only been out a couple of months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ldoems from Does what I need and has a lot of space. I'm not a technical person. My son picked this out for me based on my needs. I really like the computer and it does what I need. He did a great job of setting it up. The only issue I have is sometimes the mouse pad doesn't work right. It sort of goes craze and the arrow is uncontrollable. Then all sorts of weird things happen because you can get it to go where you want. Fortunately I have an external mouse, I just hook that up and it's fine. I don't like the key board, the spacing is off for someone who used to being able to type. Once I got used to the new Windows, I like it. All together, this computer is a good deal.

Rated 3 out of 5 by singhtaj from Display is good, but performance is Average I bought this laptop based on i5 6th gen, 8gb ram for performance, but it performance slows down sometimes and display driver crashes frequently. By googling I get to know that HD 520 has some driver issues, so i downloaded latest driver from intel and installed it, that made it little stable. 1080p screen is very pleasant and battery life is also good, although i prefer not to drain it to limits. Its very light weight, the lcd assembly feels little flexible, so I handle it with care. Key board is good. Audio sometimes go low and sometimes boost up, i don't know why, but it bother me less. Overall, value for money. I use it to watch movies, browsing and do programming stuff. Fit for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Forb from Beautifully designed and functional machine I use my Lenovo as a "desktop" even though it is a laptop. I find it works very well with Windows 10. I had no problem installing a host of computer programs I run. Office 365 also works well with it. Google Chrome works well with it. The only problem I have had is sometimes it decides it needs to stop and restart and gives an 0X000001d8 error. The only design feature I do not like is that the CD drive is structurally weak and you have to be very careful when placing a CD in the drive. Definitely worth its price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Gaurang from Slowest Laptop ever from LENOVO I bought this laptop 3 months back. I have been using lenovo products since year 2000 and have always been very proud to own Lenovo products. This is for the first time that I am very very very disappointed with Lenovo 300-15ISK this laptop is the slowest laptop that I have ever used though it has the latest processor and huge memory. I will not recommend this laptop to anyone. Rather I would strongly recommend not to buy this laptop. Sorry to be so harsh but Truth is always bitter

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tamlin from Solid simple computer for the right price This is a great simple computer. The processor is powerful enough to run multiple access, excel, and entertainment apps simultaneously without slowing. The touch pad has a good sensitivity and a convenient button to turn it off when typing. My one gripe is that the buttons for the touch pad are a little hard to push and loud. the buttons for the keypad is quiet and the ten key pad is very handy. The screen quality is not amazing, but totally sufficient for the office programs that I tend to run. The sound is great as long as the computer is sitting on a hard surface. This is a great solid computer for the price. I am totally happy with it and would recommend it for use with office software, email, interns entertainment, and DVDs.
