Rated 5 out of 5 by HelluvaEngineerJR from Solid product, pleased and would recommend For me, it's the perfect size. Large enough for browsing, emails, games, and exploring maps, but small enough to fit in my pockets! Speakers are good, sometimes they find a way to be covered up when I'm using it. Screen is good, only con would be that it wasn't the sharpest out there. Fast, no problems when flipping through my screens or loading apps. Battery is solid, no problems and lasts me 3 days easily with average use. Takes a while to charge though. Front and rear camera will do the deal, but nothing outstanding. Love the design, it holds well, not heavy, good balance. Clean and just a great look overall. Would def recommend to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Neokj from Helps me with college The samsung galaxy tab 7.0 has been really fast, responsive and very helpful with my work at my college i can get most of my books directly on the tab so it is easier and much more accesible on the tab than walking around with a bunch of heavy books. Also with apps that let me make and read microsoft word documents, pdf and other formats it is easier to do my proyects on the go. It also has cloud storage and suports drop box so i can access my data from any place at any time so if i am working on a essay and i dont have time to finish it on my computer i can put the document on the cloud or dropbox and when i turn on my wi-fi i can download it and continue on the tab.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DglennK from Excellent tablet for the price I purchased mine last September and since then have enjoyed it a lot. I do have a couple of suggestions for improvements but they are trivial at best. I use mine primarily for checking my e-mail and reading e-books. Recently I logged on to Pandora and now enjoy music while reading My tablet came with a keyboard that the tablet plugs into. My complaint is that the tablet is in portrait mode and it would be nice if Samsung could make available a male to female cord so I could turn the tablet on it's side to work in landscape mode. E-mail and internet browsing would be much better experiences. It just installed the latest version of Android and so far I am very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by loveelectronictoys from Everything I need I wanted a tablet just to carry an electronic calender. I researched them all, and CNET said this was the best value. I LOVE IT!!! Not only do I use the convenient calender, the calculator is great, the weather is great, and it AUTOMATICALLY picks up the Wi-Fi in my house. I didn't have to program it at all. The design and size are perfect, even smaller than my dayplanner. But I can enlarge the screen if I need to. The internet works as well and as fast as my desktop. I highly recommend this product. Why pay more than you have to. Price was a major consideration for me, and the overall cost was not nearly as much as others. But the value is top-notch!

Rated 2 out of 5 by javalina from lack of memory is a problem the operating system and samsung apps take up over 4 gigs of memory, so you don't really have much free space available for additional apps and downloads. You can use a 32 gig SD card, but samsung/android won't let you move any apps to the SD card. So with the SD card you can have lots of photos, but still only limited space for any apps or tool that would make this tablet useful. Basically it's real purpose it just to stream movies, check email/facebook, and maybe read ebooks. If that is all you need, then it's an ok tablet, if you want more functionality, find something with better memory flexibility, or a manufacturer that doesn't use up your memory with unwanted apps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GrtSlvrDrgn from Waited years for a tablet like this. I researched many tablets from all manufacturers and read thousands of reviews. Most of them had significant reasons not to buy them and to wait for better things to come. And have they came. This tablet does everything I have ever wanted a tablet to do; from games, office, entertainment, pictures, gps navigation, and many other features I have yet to discover. I can give it no cons simply because I researched this product extensively before I bought it, and I use it as a tablet. It is not a phone, it doesn't fit in a pocket, but it does everything and more than I could ask from my other similar fruit produces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by teachr from Almost Perfect Although I tried--and I tried hard--to use and love the iPad, it just wasn't for me. Same with the ereaders-turned-tablets. There was always the initial excitement, the "look-what-I-can-do-with-it," but the shine wore off within a few days as I kept running into things it couldn't do. I was getting tired of having four or five devices--each with a few drawbacks. So I did my research, made a list of "has-to-haves" and found the Tab 2 7.0. It hasn't left my side since I brought it home. I love this lil' machine. It's everything--my ereader(s), my calendars, my note taker, my casual game player, my music player, and my mobile video player. It is so simple to use, and performs every function quite well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Binder from External SD card difficult to access - Bad Android This is a quality Samsung product. Unfortunately I was misinformed when I purchased it. I believed that after installing a 32 GB card, id be able to use it. You csnnot install or move apps to the external card. Also Google music and Gallery fail to recognize and cannot be directed to the external card making the tab an 8GB phone only without the phone!! To make matters worse, most apps are for phones (vertical orientation) which looks stupidly small on this large screen. I have to constantly expand the screen, slide around to read text. Typing this review is frustrating trying to get the box in just the right spot. Ugh. Should have gotten ipad mini :(
