This INA ZS-series axial roller bearing center washer is designed for use as a central washer in a double-direction axial roller bearing combination with two AXK-series axial needle roller and cage assemblies and two axial bearing washers. The center washer typically serves as a raceway and spacer between the two roller and cage assemblies, and it can be mounted on the shaft as a shaft washer or in the housing as a housing washer. The raceway, bore diameter, and outside diameter are precision machined for tighter tolerances than unground surfaces. The washer is made of low alloy, through-hardened chromium steel for durability, heat tolerance, and resistance to deformity under heavy loads, and it can be used at operating temperatures from -20 degrees C to 120 C (-4 degrees F to 248 F). This center washer is suitable for use in various applications including machine tool drive shafts, automotive steering gears and clutches, rotary tables, outboard motor propellers, and household appliances.
