Rated 4 out of 5 by LEGOMandoJedi from R2, watch out for the buzz Droids! While not the greatest set Lego is selling, it has its good points. Pros: The buzz droid. About the best you can get it in Legos. Palpatine. About time they made him without an evil face. Cons: The ship can break if not handled somewhat carefully. You really need to buy the two sets recommended below if you want a prober space battle. I would recommend this to a friend!

Rated 1 out of 5 by RTG4CRG from It's Fine…Just Don't Play With It Bottom line, this is by far the most vexing Lego toy I've ever seen. My son has most of the Lego Star Wars sets (generous grandparents) so I feel uniquely qualified to make this assessment. It is, in fact, the only review I've ever made on Legos. The buzz droid was an easy assembly for him but the toy (I believe that's what it was intended to be) absolutely crumbles at the gentlest touch. Each appendage of the toy is held by a single unsupported point of connection. Repairing the toy requires a surgeon's steady hands less a dozen other pieces fall off in the effort. I would have returned this thing within minutes if I had the gift receipt. Even my son now agrees that it is destined to the scrap box as material to replace parts on other sets. My recommendation, save yourself the time, headache, and kids' disappointment by picking out a different set.

Rated 2 out of 5 by grumpy from The most disappointing Lego experience so far What spoiled the whole thing was a missing part. It took 31 (yes, you are reading that right - thirty one) calendar days for the part to arrive to Canada. My son put it together in a matter of minutes right until the missing piece. So I had it on my coffee table almost finished for a month. Keeping that in mind, I think my overall rating is generous. I do not think it is that fragile. There are points at which it can be manipulated with no harm and there are parts where if you touch it, it crumbles. I find most new Star Wars sets to be rather lacking in the quality department.
